BIO Protocol's Second Round Community Token Sale Raises $11.14 Million

BlockBeats News, November 9th: The DeSci project's BIO Protocol second round of community token fundraising has raised $11.14 million out of the $16.2 million target. Participating investors can start claiming BIO tokens after the end of the second round of community token fundraising, where 50% can be immediately obtained, and the remaining 50% will be linearly unlocked over one year (referred to as vBIO). BIO Protocol announced the completion of a $6.22 million first-round Genesis auction fundraising on August 20th, exceeding the original target of around $5 million.


BlockBeats previously reported that at 22:00 on November 8th, Binance Labs announced an investment in the DeSci project's BIO Protocol, with the investment amount undisclosed. This investment marks Binance Labs' first foray into the DeSci field, as BIO Protocol aims to utilize blockchain technology to transform the financing and commercialization of early-stage scientific research.
